I am a Campus Minister with a Christian organization known as the CCO. I work at Bellefield Presbyterian Church, with a student organization called Cornerstone, to minister to students at the University of Pittsburgh and surrounding campuses.
I just want to give a quick update on how we’re doing financially. In short, last month was wonderful! I can’t thank you all enough for your generosity, kindness, and the way you sacrificially give. Truly, I can’t thank you enough.
We made more than double what we needed last month—praise God! But we’re still not quite out of the woods yet and could still use some financial help. There are multiple ways you can support us:
Give – You can give monthly, or you can give a one-time gift. Any gift is a good gift!
Share – You can share my need with your friends and family, or even share this social media post.
Tithe Your Tax Return – I know it’s still early to think about your tax return, but you could always tithe a portion of it to help us.
Pray – Pray that God would provide—not just financially, but also spiritually for the students at Pitt.

Hi everybody, it’s Andy!
I hope you’re doing well and staying warm. Before I begin, I want to ask you—please don’t skip this video because I really need your help.
Over the past couple of months, I’ve been doing well with support raising and have been able to meet my financial needs. However, I’ve come to realize that a lot of the support I’ve received consists of one-time gifts. Right now, I’m in a position where I’m just treading water financially.
When I recently reviewed my finances, I realized that if I were to have just one bad month, my entire ministry account could be wiped out—and that’s not a good place to be.
So, I’m calling on you and asking for your help.
Currently, I’m raising $6,500 a month, which is a significant challenge. I’ve been exploring ways to adjust my budget, such as finding a cheaper insurance option, but right now, I need your support.
Here are some ways you can help:
1. Give Financially
If you’re able to give financially, that would mean the world to us. Whether you’re already giving or you want to contribute for the first time, every gift matters.
If you already support us, I humbly ask you to consider increasing your support by 10% to 25%. That increase would be an incredible blessing.
If you’re new to supporting us, even a one-time gift would be deeply appreciated.
2. Tithe from Your Tax Return
I’d like to bring back an idea I’ve used in the past: “tithing your tax return.” It’s early to start thinking about filing your taxes, but when the time comes, I ask you to prayerfully consider donating 10% of your tax return to our ministry. This approach has been so fruitful in the past, and I’d love to see it make an impact again.
3. Share This Video

Hello friends, Andy here! I just want to give you a quick financial update.
Over the past few weeks, about half a dozen people have either approached me or texted me, asking, "How are you doing financially? I know you have a campaign going on." The answer is, for the past couple of months, I’ve actually been doing pretty well. I’ve raised quite a bit through the campaign, a few people have generously donated through the usual means, and I’ve also gained some new donors, which has been amazing — a true testament to God's provision. I’m incredibly grateful to those of you who’ve been concerned about my financial situation, who’ve been praying for me, and to everyone who has supported me.
However, I’m not entirely out of the woods yet. I still need to raise a little more to have a comfortable cushion in my ministry account. That’s where I need your help. I’m asking you to prayerfully consider donating to my campaign or sharing this message to help spread the word.
I know that fundraising isn’t the most glamorous thing in the world, but it’s a powerful reminder of God’s provision. It can be a little scary at times — we can become so self-centered that we think everything depends on us. But trusting in God and relying on His provision is essential, and that’s what I’m striving to do.

Andy: Hey everybody, Andy here. I just wanted to take a moment to be vulnerable and say that we need your help financially. This past year has been one financially of ebbs and flows, goods and bads. Recently, it's kind of been one of those "when it rains, it pours" situations. We've had some supporters who can no longer give, understandably. We've had some hiccups financially, we've had some automotive trouble, and of course, we've had some medical expenses as well recently. So, I am just asking for your help financially. That's why we actually started the campaign, because we started to dip a little too low. I'm so grateful for you all—for your support, for your love. It's because of your support that I'm able to do what I do. I can go out on campus and spread the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.
But it's one thing for me to say what I do, and it's another thing to hear a testimony from one of my students about what I do.
John: Hi everyone, just wanted to take a second to talk to you all about some of the impact that Andy has had on me during my time at Cornerstone and at Pitt. I first met Andy Moore my freshman year of college, and he was quick to get me involved in his discipleship group with two other students. We've been meeting consistently for three years now, and Andy has served as a close friend and mentor to me and these other two students.
During this discipleship group, it's a time to decompress about our weeks, play some board games—which I'm sure you all know Andy is very fond of—and just talk about our spiritual lives and well-being, and get more into the Word with his guidance. Through Andy, I've been able to grow so much in my faith, and the support that you guys give him is directly responsible for the growth and ministry that he provides to myself and every other student at Cornerstone. He has done so much for this community for so long, and myself and every other student appreciates and thanks you for any support you give him, whether that be financial, through prayers, or by spreading his newsletter. He has done so much for this community, and it would just mean so much to me if we were able to support him back. Thank you.

As you may have seen from my last video, I have started a new campaign and wanted to talk about it a bit. I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request to replenish my ministry account, which has dipped a little due to my focus on another campaign, the Cornerstone campaign. I'm aiming to raise about $6,000 to provide a cushion as I seek new monthly donors to sustain and expand our ministry's impact.
A healthy account allows me to dedicate more time to campus activities for meaningful ministry, reducing the need for support raising. It also covers personal expenses related to ministry work, ensuring effectiveness and our presence in the mission field. Importantly, it enables us to assist students, making a tangible difference in their lives.
Support raising might be a foreign concept to many, but I believe it is vital. It transforms ministry from an individual effort to a communal mission, inviting others to join in a sacred partnership. By pooling resources and prayers, we further the kingdom of God. Raising support helps us cultivate a network of believers united in a purpose, each playing a unique role in the ministry's success. This collective endeavor not only sustains me but also allows supporters to actively participate in God's work, creating a shared legacy of faith and generosity.
Through support raising, we embody the truth that ministry thrives best when carried on the shoulders of many, echoing the early church's spirit of unity and shared mission. Financial Update
As you can see from the chart above, we did much better in May than in April. In May, we made $4,026. That is 88% of where we need to be. We are up 6%! God provides! We still need your help, however. I would like to up that 88% to 100%. I'm not sure I could reiterate it any better than how I have stated it over the past few months. Matthew 6:25-34 have been my "anthem" through these difficult times. Here is what I wrote:
Times are tough. Having a steady income can be tough. It is through these times of immense vulnerability, that we realize that we cannot do this by ourselves. That we need a faithful savior to rely on. Jesus Christ is that faithful savior. When everything around seems so inconstant, we have a God who is constant. We must rely on that. I know that these times of uncertainty have hit hard for some, and we have felt that as well. We are asking for your help now, more than ever. If you are interested in supporting us financially, please feel click on the link below. We must be reminded that God is a provider.
Consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Last month, I featured an interview with our youngest son, Asher. To keep in this tradition, I have decided to post an interview with our oldest son, Benjamin. Benjamin is our organized, rational son, who has an extremely sweet and generous side to him. He is willing to do anything for his family. Listen to what he has to say:

Moore News March 21 was Joshua's 12th birthday. Because of social distancing and isolation, we had to cancel his party and have one with just his immediate family. So, I thought you all might want to get to know Joshua a bit better. Watch his interview below:
