Hey everyone, Andy here. 

I wanted to give you a quick update on what’s been going on lately — with our family, with Cornerstone, and with finances. Normally I save the financial updates for the end, but I’m actually going to start there today because a few important things have come up.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve fallen short in my giving, and last month I was about $1,000 short. When that starts to become a pattern, it raises concern. So, I want to ask for your help in four specific ways:

1. Give – You can give a one-time gift, start giving for the first time, or, if you already give monthly, I’d ask you to consider increasing your donation by 10–25%.

2. Tithe Your Tax Return – Tax returns are coming in, and this is something I’ve encouraged before with success. When your return arrives, I ask that you prayerfully consider tithing a portion of it to support the ministry.

3. Share – Please share the need with friends or family. You can do this verbally or by sharing this video or email. Getting the word out makes a big difference.

4. Pray – Most importantly, pray. I’ve found myself in tight spots before, and God has always come through. So I’m not panicking — I’m trusting God will provide again, as He always has.

Now for some personal updates. This Saturday, the 17th, I’ll be traveling to Cleveland, Ohio to stand before the Presbytery for my final oral examination as part of the ordination process. I’ll be preaching a sermon and answering questions, and I would really appreciate your prayers as I prepare and go through that experience. Lord willing, I’ll pass, and I’ll be sure to keep you updated on how everything goes.

At home, life is moving quickly! Ben is graduating from high school next month and will be heading to Pitt in the fall. Asher is wrapping up his freshman year at Allderdice and really enjoying it. Josh has started 7-on-7 football and is already getting ready for the upcoming football season; he’ll also be visiting colleges this summer, which is hard to believe. And then there’s Emily — the glue that holds everything together. She keeps all of us on track and manages the chaos of four boys with so much grace. Please keep her in your prayers, especially as the pace of life continues to pick up.

Over at Cornerstone, we’re getting ready to kick off our summer program, which we simply call Summerstone. It’s a student-led Bible study — laid-back, relational, and focused on helping students connect with Jesus and with one another. It’s one of our favorite times of the year, and I’d love for you to pray that it’s meaningful and impactful for everyone involved.

Hey everyone! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a quick update on what’s been happening with both Cornerstone and the Moore family.

First, Cornerstone. This past weekend, we took part in the CCO Western Pennsylvania Fall Retreat. This was actually our first time attending this particular retreat, held in Ligonier, PA. It was a fantastic experience, full of connection and fellowship. We enjoyed a mix of play, rest, and worship—everything you could hope for in a retreat. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect deeply with each other and with God, and we definitely plan to attend again in the future!

On the home front, things have been steady. Joshua recently had his first start as a wide receiver in a game against Pittsburgh powerhouse, Westinghouse. Unfortunately, on the first play, he took a hit to the head and ended up with a minor concussion. Thankfully, he’s recovering well, and his team is moving forward to States, where they’ll be playing Punxsutawney this Saturday. Please keep him in your prayers for a continued smooth recovery and a strong game.

Asher has been diving into Esports and is absolutely loving it! It’s a new adventure for him, and he’s enjoying every moment. Ben has officially submitted all his college applications, and now we’re eagerly awaiting responses. We’re hopeful and excited about what’s next for him!

I also want to express my deep gratitude for each of you. Thank you for your ongoing support—whether through financial contributions or prayer. Your encouragement, especially during challenging and joyful times, means so much to us, and I pray that God blesses each of you abundantly.

Financial Update

As you can see from the chart above, we have taken our first large hit in a while.  In April, we made $3,736.  That is 82% of where we need to be.  Though I never like to see my ministry account balance dip, I know that God will provide. I'm not sure I could reiterate it any better than how I stated it last month:

Times are tough. Having a steady income can be tough. It is through these times of immense vulnerability, that we realize that we cannot do this by ourselves. That we need a faithful savior to rely on. Jesus Christ is that faithful savior. When everything around seems so inconstant, we have a God who is constant. We must rely on that. I know that these times of uncertainty have hit hard for some, and we have felt that as well. We are asking for your help now, more than ever. If you are interested in supporting us financially, please feel click on the link below. We must be reminded that God is a provider.

Consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Last month, I featured an interview with our middle son, Joshua.  To keep in this tradition, I have decided to post an interview with our youngest son, Asher (FYI, he was a bit nervous behind the camera).  Asher is a constant source of sweetness, positivity, and energy in our house, so get to know him a bit more:
